| ISLAND SONG produced a really good finish to beat the boys today at Turffontein in the Computaform Rating maiden plate over 2450m. Felix looked to have ridden the perfect race on frontrunner African Giant, but Pierre swooped late to grab the prize. They were well clear of the 3rd horse, and this gives up hope that she can win again out of the maidens, she stays well. Matthew Stevens, Zaki Racing. |
