3/25/2010 - STABLE HAS 3 WINNERS AT THE VAAL TODAY
| We can now certainly say that the stable is back in full swing now after a few quiet months on the farm due to waterlogged tracks. We had 3 winners today at the Vaal, and we can assure you that we are just getting started. Brandon Lerena has joined the yard and I don't think even he could have dreamed of the instant success he has had since joining the yard. This talented young rider is a welcome addition the the Zaki Racing Team. IBROX PARK was the first of the 3 winners on the day, winning a maiden juvenile plate on debut by 9.75 lengths. WINNING LEAP and ARABIAN JET both won competitive handicaps, and WINNING LEAP was especially impressive when setting a the pace, being overtaken by the favourite, and then fighting back to win going away under another brilliant ride from Brandon.
